Bidding Guidelines
If you are interested in an item, please submit your highest offer by 5 PM on Friday, September 22 via email to Liz Broadfoot, Art Omi Development Director, ebroadfoot@artomi.org
Please include:
1. The item name or number
2. Your highest offer
3. Your credit card information (number, expiration date, CSV, and billing zip code)
All submitted offers will be sealed and kept confidential by the Development Director, who will raise a paddle on your behalf. Each item will begin with the starting bid and go up in increments determined by our auctioneer. If your bid is higher than that during the live auction, you will win the item at the increment above the next-highest offer, NOT the highest offer you submitted. For example, if your maximum bid is $6,000, and the live auction stops at $5,000, you will win the item at $5,250. If you win, your credit card will be charged on the evening of September 23 and we will email you with arrangements for delivery of item(s).

Enjoy a private tour and lunch with artist and foundation director Oliver Kruse of the ethereal Museum Insel Hombroich, a spectacular cluster of buildings, artworks, and artist residences scattered across 62 acres of meadowland in Neuss, Germany (15 mins from Dusseldorf).
A domain for artistic, literary, philosophical, and musical pursuits, Hombroich is an ongoing ‘open experiment’ born out of the personal commitment of private collectors and artists. The park includes Museum Insel Hombroich, Kirkeby-Feld, and Raketenstation (“Rocket Station”), a decommissioned NATO missile base. Artists and architects involved in redesigning and rebuilding the distinctive spaces include Raimund Abraham, Tadao Ando, Dietmar Hofmann, Erwin Heerich, Oliver Kruse, Katsuhito Nishikawa, Claudio Silvestrin, Terunobu Fujimori, and Álvaro Siza.
Stay four nights at the Kloster, a 14-room guesthouse reserved for visiting artists and curators. Accommodations include two spacious private rooms with double beds with a fully-equipped common kitchen, lounge, and dining room shared with visiting artists. Total sleeping capacity: 4. Nearby pavilions house precious artworks by Constantin Brancusi, Pieter Breughel II, Paul Cezanne, Loves Corinth, Francis Picabia, Rembrandt van Reign, and Chinese antiquities from the Tan and Han dynasties.
Available programs include an authentic tea ceremony with Hisako Nishikawa at the Ein Stein Teehouse designed by architect Terunobu Fujimori, and guided tours with artists, curators, and naturalists.

Ashley Garrett (b. 1984) graduated with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. Garrett’s work has been reviewed by The Brooklyn Rail, Two Coats of Paint, and Caesura Magazine, among others, and the artist has been interviewed by Gorky’s Granddaughter, Art Spiel, and The Collaborative. Ashley Garrett lives and works in East Chatham, NY.
