Fabricated in bronze from the original cherry and oak pieces which were completed between the years 1990-1999, several large sculptures by Tom Doyle comprise this monumental installation situated between the open meadows and wooded areas of The Fields. At once weighty and light, the sculptures have an anthropomorphic quality at once familiar and somewhat alien. Among other accolades, Doyle is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship Award and a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship.
