About Saturday Children's Workshops

Calling all kids! Join our weekly workshops on Saturdays from 10 AM–12 PM led by Art Omi: Education teaching artists. Kids will discover and interact with new and familiar works in the Sculpture & Architecture Park and then have an opportunity to create artwork based on a weekly theme and/or material. This program will be held outdoors (rain or shine) and in the Newmark Gallery. As always, Art Omi: Education will deliver engaging, developmentally-appropriate projects that encourage curiosity, experimentation, and creative thinking through a variety of materials and experiences. Join us for a different project each and every week!

Participants are welcome to sign up for as many (or few!) workshops as they like, there is no ongoing commitment to attend on a weekly basis.

Cancellation + Refund Policy: Workshop fee is non-refundable. Can't make it? You may use your credit towards another available Saturday by sending a request to Sasha at ssicurella@artomi.org. Should Art Omi cancel due to weather conditions or unforeseeable circumstances that prevent the program from operating, a credit will be issued for an alternate Saturday workshop.

Art Omi’s programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

Additional support for Art Omi: Education is provided in part by Christian Draz, the Robert Lehman Foundation, and Susan & Harry Newton.

Art Omi provides tuition assistance and supplies to ensure all young artists have access to our arts education programs. Our Education Fund is made possible by the collective generosity of our larger community; if you would like to designate a gift to Art Omi: Education, please contact us at development@artomi.org
