Art Omi: Writers Reading with Nuyorican Poets Café
In partnership with the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Art Omi: Writers presents a virtual reading from current writers-in-residence. These distinguished writers and translators will share new and in-progress writing produced during their time in residence. Art Omi readings are always an opportunity to experience an uncommon variety of provocative, funny, innovative, and surprising literary voices from a range of traditions, all in one place.
Art Omi: Writers hosts authors and translators from around the world for residencies throughout the spring and fall. The program’s strong international emphasis provides exposure for global literary voices and reflects the spirit of cultural exchange that is essential to Art Omi’s mission.
