Laura de Weck
Switzerland

Laura de Weck is a playwright, screenwriter, and critic whose plays have been performed worldwide and have received numerous invitations and awards. In 2022, de Weck was the head writer of the TV chamber drama series Emma Lügt (Emma Lies, SRG SSR). Since 2023, she has been hosting the TV book club Literaturclub on German and Swiss television. She also serves as a juror for prestigious German-language literary prizes, including the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize.

Theresia Enzensberger
Germany

Theresia Enzensberger is an author living in Berlin. After studying film at Bard College in New York, Enzensberger went on to found BLOCK, a magazine featuring young German voices. Her first novel, Blueprint, was published in 2017 and translated into English and Italian, winning the Alfred Döblin Medal. Her second novel, At Sea, was nominated for the German Book Awards 2022. Her most recent publication, Sleeping, is a partly fictional, partly essayistic exploration of insomnia and sleep.

Gilda Gonfier
Guadeloupe

Gilda Gonfier is a writer and independent researcher exploring the colonial archives of the French Caribbean. Her work focuses on enslaved individuals labeled "dangerous," combining legal, anthropological, and literary approaches. Gonfier develops a polyphonic writing style that seeks to restore silenced voices. Her project Nous les dangereuses (We the Dangerous Ones) blends archival investigation with critical reflection and literary invention. Alongside her writing, she leads workshops on memory, transmission, and reclaiming narratives, particularly with women.

Mayte López
Mexico

Mayte López is the author of the novels De la Catrina y la flaca (Sudaquia, 2016) and Sensación térmica (Libros del Asteroide, 2021). Sensación térmica was adapted for the stage. López holds an MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish from NYU and a PhD from CUNY. She teaches creative writing at Yale University. 

Nicolás Maurokefalidis
Argentina

Nicolás Maurokefalidis is a writer and translator from Argentina. His novel London Fever is forthcoming from Norton in January 2027. Maurokefalidis also co-translated Sara Gallardo's Eisejuaz, forthcoming from Archipelago Books.

Hera Naguib
U.S./Pakistan

Hera Naguib was born in Saudi Arabia and has lived transnationally in Canada, Pakistan, and the United States. Winner of the John Mackay Shaw Academy of American Poets Award and the Quarterly West Poetry Prize, Naguib's work has appeared in The Believer, The Iowa Review, AGNI, the Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day series, New England Review, World Literature Today, and elsewhere. A former Fulbright Scholar and recipient of the VIDA Residency Fellowship, her work has also received support from Art Omi, the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, and Vermont Studio Center. She lives between Boston and Lahore.

Jenny Offill
U.S.

Jenny Offill is the author of the novels Last Things, Dept. of Speculation, and Weather. Offill received a Guggenheim fellowship in 2016. Her work has been shortlisted for the Women's Prize, the PEN Faulkner, and the Folio Prize. She lives in upstate New York and teaches at Bard College.

Ayesha Raees
Pakistan/U.S.

Ayesha Raees (عائشہ رئیس) is a poet and artist whose work revolves around belonging and dislocation, spirituality, and beauty and cruelty, and maintains a strong commitment to decolonial, anti-violence, and anti-erasure practices. Raees edits poetry at The Margins and has been endorsed by the Asian American Writers' Workshop, Kundiman, UNESCO, and others. Her first book of poems, Coining a Wishing Tower, won the Broken River Prize and was an Indies Award finalist. Originally from Lahore, she is based in New York City.

Rima Rantisi
Lebanon

Rima Rantisi is a lecturer at the American University of Beirut and the founding editor of Rusted Radishes: Beirut Literary and Art Journal. Her essays can be found in New England Review, Literary Hub, Slag Glass City, and elsewhere. Rantisi holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and has received literary fellowships from Headlands Center for the Arts, Hedgebrook, and Monson Arts. She is at work on a collection of interrelated personal and craft essays exploring motherhood, land, ruptured histories, and writing.

Res Sigusch
Germany

Res Sigusch (they/them) is a Berlin-based writer, editor, and writing coach. Their work explores emotional states such as anxiety, longing, and connectedness, examining how individual experiences are shaped by broader social and structural conditions. Sigusch studied Philosophy and Comparative Literature before completing an MA in Literary Writing. Their debut novel, Wesentliche Bedürfnisse (2024), was followed by Unbegründete Ängste (2026), which was supported by the Berlin Senate's Literature Scholarship. In addition to writing, they work as a trauma therapist in Berlin, a perspective that informs their literary exploration of the human psyche and social complexity.

Rahel Suesskind
Germany

Rahel Suesskind lives and works as a freelance illustrator and comic artist in Berlin, Germany. Suesskind emigrated from Kazakhstan to Germany with her parents when she was a small child. With a focus on illustration, she completed her studies in Communication Design at BTK (Berlin Technical Art Academy) in 2014. She regularly publishes her own comics—including the series My Friend Snooh and Ingenious Rascals—in print and on Instagram. Since 2021, Suesskind and Sheree Domingo have been publishing the zine series Dog Creeps. She works in analogue media using ink, colored pencils, and watercolor, and is currently finishing Ingenious Rascals, a Slavic Western about two mercenary friends named Nona and Masha.

Pete Wu
The Netherlands

Pete Wu is a journalist and author of De bananengeneratie (The Banana Generation, 2019), a book about second-generation Chinese Dutch people. In 2020, Wu directed the documentary Pete en de bananen (Pete and the Bananas) for national television, about dating as a Dutch person of East-Asian descent. A theatre adaptation of his book toured the Netherlands from 2022–2024. He holds degrees in English Literature, American Studies, media, and journalism, and has published prose in several literary magazines. Wu has worked as a reporter and editor for national newspapers, the national news broadcasting channel NOS, IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam), and VICE Media. He is an ambassador for Pride Amsterdam, FENIX Museum, Dutch Dance Theatre, and Holland Festival, and is currently working on a novel, a documentary series, and an essay book.
