Wendy Call

U.S.

Wendy Call (she/her) is the author, co-editor, or translator of ten books and two chapbooks, including the annual anthology she co-founded, Best Literary Translations. She translates primarily poetry by women writing bilingually in Indigenous Mexican languages and Spanish. She has collaborated with Binnizá poet Irma Pineda for 18 years. A recent Fulbright Scholar to Colombia and Translator-in-Residence at the University of Iowa, she teaches creative nonfiction in the Rainier Writing Workshop MFA Program. She lives and works on Duwamish land in Seattle, and Mixtec/Zapotec land in Oaxaca.

Nicole Cecilia Delgado

Puerto Rico

Nicole Cecilia Delgado is a poet, translator, and book artist. Her poetry has been widely published and translated on international literary platforms. She is the founder and co-director of La Impresora, a poetry press and Risograph studio dedicated to small-scale publishing and book arts.

Wong Ching Hang

Scotland

Wong Ching Hang is a Hong Kong fiction writer currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland. He is the author of the short story collection, “Southbound Truck.” In 2025, he represented Hong Kong at the International Writing Program in Iowa. His fiction has appeared in Words Without Borders.

En En Hsu

Taiwan

En En Hsu is a Taiwanese novelist and freelance writer with a master’s degree in Sociology from National Tsing Hua University. She approaches storytelling as an extension of sociological inquiry, bringing analytical precision to questions of the public sphere and human emotion. Hsu is the author of The Becoming (變成的人), a novel about Taiwan’s 2014 Sunflower Student Movement that won the 2024 Taiwan Literature Award New Bud Award. Her latest short story collection, “Between Her Room and the World” (在女與公之間), explores the everyday lives, desires, and struggles of women activists.

Chenxin Jiang

U.S. / Hong Kong

Chenxin Jiang is a literary translator based in Denver and Hong Kong. Her last translation, "for now I am sitting here growing transparent," was a finalist for the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation; her next translation, "Fish/Unfish: Selected Poems" by Jiang Hao, is forthcoming from Northwestern University Press next year.

Katie Marya

Katie Marya (Atlanta, Georgia) is the author of “Sugar Work” (Alice James, 2022), her debut poetry collection, and the translator of Animal Spiral by Luis Othoniel Rosa (Charco Press 2026). She currently works as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Murray State University in Kentucky.

Irma Pineda Santiago

Mexico

Irma Pineda. Zapotec writer, author of a dozen poetry collections. Her work, translated into English by Wendy Call, appears in magazines such as Poetry and Chicago Review, in addition to the books Stolen Flower (Yale University, 2025) and Nostalgia doesn't flow away like Riverwater (Deep Vellum, 2024). She is part of the National System of Art Creators of Mexico. Pineda has made literary stays at the Helen Riaboff Whiteley Center, University of Washington in Seattle, Washington; at the Banff Centre of the Arts in Alberta, Canada; and at the Calles y Sueños House of Art and Culture, in Chicago, Illinois.

Catherine Xinxin Yu

Catherine Xinxin Yu (she/they) translates literature from Taiwan and Hong Kong. They were the 2025 ALTA Peter K. Jansen Travel Fellow, and a recipient of the 2025 English PEN Presents x International Booker Grant. Their shorter works have appeared in Words Without Borders, Asymptote, Two Lines Calico, The Oxonian Review, and elsewhere. They’re also an assistant editor of fiction at Asymptote Journal.
