Megan McDowell Received the 2022 National Book Award for Translated Literature
Translator Megan McDowell (Art Omi: Writers 2022) received the 2022 National Book Award for Translated Literature alongside author Samanta Schweblin for her collection of stories titled Seven Empty Houses. The book, translated from Spanish, is described in O, The Oprah Magazine as "perfecting the art of pithy literary creepiness, crafting modern fables that tingle the spine and the brain."
