Make a gift to Omi International Art Center's Year End Appeal!

Celebrate by giving!
Omi International Arts Center is celebrating its 25th year! We're so grateful that with your help we've accomplished so much in the past quarter-century.

Please support Art Omi with a donation before 2016 ends!

You've seen Art Omi evolve from its humble beginnings in the studio barn to our current 400+ acre campus, sculpture park, visitors center and gallery. And we are growing faster than ever. This year we welcomed nearly 24,000 visitors who enjoyed The Fields, special events, education programs and our cafe. That's up 50% from last year!

You've seen us move from being open just a few weeks a year for artists' residencies to offering year-round educational experiences, including residential programs for visual artists, dancers, musicians, writers, translators and now architects beginning in 2017.

WHAT YOUR YEAR-END DONATION SUPPORTS

We all want the next 25 years to be as successful as the last. You are key to making that happen.
Your support helps Art Omi continue as a leader in residential programs for international artists. Let's make sure Art Omi thrives, as part of the exceptional cultural community of the Hudson Valley. Help Art Omi continue to be open to all, offering free programs and experiences to visitors and neighbors alike.

We are grateful for gifts at all levels, but here are some examples of what your contribution will support.

• $100 supports a visiting artist to teach children at a Saturday workshop
• $350 provides one child a scholarship for a week of Camp Omi
• $500 allows a local teen to work as a camp counselor for a week
• $1,000 helps support room and board for an artist-in-residence
• $1,500 will sponsor our Free Trick-or-Treat in The Fields Halloween event, which attracts over 600 local children to Art Omi
• $2,000 will fund a public event, like our Ultra-Pro: Sculptures That Cook gathering
• $3,500 can bring a new sculpture international exhibition to The Fields, like Folkert De Jong's statuesque, raw, and malevolently evocative bronze works, including Babel's Maze and Old DNA
• $5,000 will support a high caliber gallery show, like Anne Lindberg's fold and unfold, which blurs the lines between drawing, sculpture, textiles and conceptual art on an architectural scale
• $10,000 will pay for two artists-in-residence, from as close as New York City or as far away as Tibet.

THEN AND NOW

Your experience at Art Omi is likely changing and growing as we evolve.

In addition to stopping by for a walk in The Fields or to peruse our visual artists' Open Studios, you are now also visiting us for a range of events and activities, such as our eclectic readings, experimental musical shows and ground-breaking dance performances.

Or maybe your children or grandchildren are expanding their minds and their art experience by attending our Saturday workshops or Summer Camps.

Possibly you're dropping by the Visitors Center weekly for a cup of coffee or to enjoy a delicious soup and sandwich at our cafe.

Or perhaps you're bringing your weekend visitors to see the experimental and habitable ReActor sculpture, designed and built by internationally renowned architect-artist duo Alex Schweder + Ward Shelley.

Maybe after a snowstorm, you're bringing the whole family to ski on our cross country trails or to sled in The Fields.

We're so glad you're part of Art Omi!
