Local Artists & Farms

Local artists will design and build sculptures that can function as outdoor cooking devices. Come and witness these handmade sculptures bake, boil, pop, fry, grill, roast, steam, or smoke food. All materials and methods are non-toxic and environmentally sound. In keeping with the spirit of supporting and working with our local farms, the festival will be held on Saturday, October 7, to take advantage of the Fall harvest.

This event offers an opportunity for the community to come together to reap the bounty of the season in an artistic and lively fashion, and to reconnect the ritual of cooking and eating to the ritual of growing and making.

Join this gathering feast to celebrate the process of cooking, as well as the art objects and methods that make it
 happen!
