Sasha Sicurella, Director of Camp Art Omi is an artist-educator who earned her MFA at New York University. She currently teaches K-12 art with a focus on contemporary tools and ideas, working with students in both independent and public schools. Since 2005, Camp Art Omi has successfully offered fun and diverse arts-based programming for children of all ages. Sasha, along with three experienced instructors, host approximately 25 campers each week. Disciplines include studio arts, fiber & nature arts, creative movement, and drama. Other activities include hiking, swimming, and studio visits with international artists.

This unique art camp explores contemporary art and ideas through a variety of media and experiences. Under large tents in the natural surroundings of The Fields Sculpture Park, young artists draw inspiration from the people, places and things in this dynamic environment. Concept-building and technical skills are encouraged through a 'guided discovery' process, which focuses on experiential learning in a child-centered environment.
