Music Omi Concert in The Fields

Omi invites you to experience a unique concert of new global music, presented in The Fields Sculpture Park. Enjoy an afternoon of unforgettable new music collaborations amidst over 80 works of contemporary sculpture set in Omi's stunning 120+ acre pastoral landscape.

Writers Collective of Kristiania: Wealth, Space, Community

Members of Kristiania will offer public readings and performances at various locations throughout the Fields Sculpture Park. The public is invited to join our community as we celebrate the role Omi has played in our artistic growth. A reception celebrating Kristiania's first publication, a limited edition, handmade anthology of work by its members on the theme of Wealth, will follow in the Benenson Visitors Center.

Saturday Children's Workshops

Drop off/Pick up at the Benenson Visitors Center

Join us on Saturday mornings for this popular workshop for young artists ages 4 1/2 - 12! Based on a weekly theme and inspired by artworks in The Fields, Architecture Omi, and the Visitors Center Gallery, each workshop includes an outdoor adventure and a hands-on artmaking activity. Led by teaching artists, children are divided into two groups by age and participate in developmentally appropriate projects that encourage curiosity, experimentation, and creative thinking through a variety of materials and experiences.

Light Into Night

Our upstate fundraiser, LIGHT INTO NIGHT brings together visual artists, writers, musicians and dancers for an unforgettable event. Experience a rare and exclusive evening of installations and performances against the striking backdrop of the Omi Studio Barns.

This event helps the world-renowned Omi International Arts Center continue our important work of producing international arts programming of the highest caliber right here in the Hudson Valley.

Architecture Omi: ReActor
Alex Schweder + Ward Shelley

ReActor, the newest work in an experimental, performative series of "social relationship architecture" by internationally renowned architect-artist team Alex Schweder + Ward Shelley opens July 30 at Omi International Arts Center. Currently under construction in Architecture Omi's Field 01, ReActor will become a habitable sculpture, where Schweder + Shelley will live in full view of their audience for a series of performances throughout the season.

Unpacking the Cube: Leong Leong, LevenBetts, Steven Holl Architects

Three architecture firms -- Leong Leong, LevenBetts and Steven Holl Architects -- express the core philosophies of their practice through an exploration of the cubic form. Join us in inaugurating three exhibitions for Architecture Omi with an opening, reception + curator's talk at the Benenson Visitors Center.

Nicolás Aracena Müller works within the scopes of performance art, architecture, contemporary design, sculpture and fabrication. The architect relies on the landscape, architecture and surrounding area to act as conceptual research material, which allows him to explore and react to his surroundings, a perspective on our environment. Join us in inaugurating three exhibitions for Architecture Omi with an opening, reception + curator's talk at the Benenson Visitors Center.

Writers Omi Fall Reading and BBQ


Saturday, September 24, 5 PM

Located at the Benenson Visitors Center


Join distinguished writers, translators, and poets in residence at Writers Omi this fall for a night of one-of-a-kind readings by international voices. Following the event, Omi invites visitors to join the writers for a barbecue feast and reception, for which donations are appreciated. The reading is free and open to the public.

Café Omi, located in the Visitors Center at The Fields Sculpture Park, serves seasonal lunch specials, soups, salads and sweets. Our menu rotates weekly and is carefully craſted by our talented local chefs. Café Omi is proud to offer the freshest seasonal ingredients and produce sourced from local farms and purveyors in Columbia County.
